Optimum Product Safety & Quality is a pre-requisite of our continued market success. Universal Product Solutions Ltd is equipped to provide products and services of the highest possible product safety & quality. Our Product Safety & Quality Management System is designed to meet and exceed the requirements of the ISO9001:2015 standard – providing the framework through which the process of review and continual improvement is implemented.

 The overriding objectives of our Product Safety & Quality Management are:

• To supply products that are consistent with the Customer-specific requirements, within Statutory and Regulatory limits.
• Maintain Security & Control of both Technical & Manufactured work & our Premises, throughout our Quality Systems, including the issue that as to avoid Contamination, minimise environmental deterioration and permit effective cleaning.
• Effectively train all personnel and encourage a culture of continued improvement and development and continual improvement of a product safety and quality culture learning using of the PS&Q Methods laid out in the Standard
• Cascade down to all Staff, relevant PS&Q information, using noticeboards, training, and through Supervisors and other key Staff members.
• Using corrective actions and reviewing their effectiveness to continually improve PS&Q Standards and thereby increase profitability.

As suppliers to the food Industry, it is the company’s policy to exercise due diligence and to take all reasonable care to prevent potential problems and/or risks, such as foreign bodies, contamination or taint, including Product Fraud. We therefore pledge to supply safe and legal products to our Customers in line with the specifications given by them.

To ensure that we meet our Product Safety requirements, we operate to the requirements of the IS09001:2015 standard. This Policy statement is complementary to any other system operating at the plant.
